Andre has filmed & animated his own music videos over the years and enjoys the creative process going with a strong DIY ethos. He shoots with a canon 550d dslr combined with collected retro manual primes & anamorphic glass.

Corporate Conga Line, inspired by 2008 financial crisis, a response to the voodoo economics world in which we live. Film was solo shot on locations around New Zealand's North Island April 2011.

Filmed on a Canon t2i mostly using old manual primes with Proskar anamorphic 2x attached. Lenses used, Super Takumar 55 1.8 , Proskar Anamorphic-16 2x, Canon 18-55 EF-S, Pentacon 2.8/29,Canon EF 50mm 1.8 II, UVTopcor 1:2 53mm.

Hikikomori animated music video

The whole Hikikomori cartoon project was inspired by a BBC documentary in 2002 looking at how estimated 1 million young Japanese people withdraw from society and stay in their rooms for years without venturing outside. They just play computer games at night and sleep all day and feel abandoned in the company driven society.
